Hong Kong model manufacturer FLAME TOYS' robot-themed die-cast articulated figure series, "Kuro Kara Kuri", has officially announced its latest product from the anime Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, the "Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann", scheduled for release in May 2026.
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is the final and strongest form of Gurren Lagann in the TV series, with a size that surpasses galaxies and a total length of 100,000 light-years. This mecha gathers the Spiral Power of all members of Team Dai-Gurren and can utilize each member's specialized techniques, but these were still insufficient to defeat the Anti-Spiral leader. Ultimately, Lordgenome, the Spiral King, sacrificed his life to reverse the Anti-Spiral Power into immense Spiral Power for it to absorb, thus gaining the strength to defeat the Anti-Spiral race.
The "Kuro Kara Kuri Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann" is crafted as an articulated figure with a total height of approximately 35 cm. Its overall design blends the original anime settings with FLAME TOYS' original design, meticulously reproducing the facial features across its body, the flame-like lines symbolizing Team Dai-Gurren, and the Spiral Power effects made from clear materials. It also features rich metallic and gradient paint applications, among others, to achieve a more substantial texture. The head and chest also incorporate built-in LED lighting mechanisms.
Regarding accessories, it includes the weapons "Giga Drill" and "Tengen Toppa Enkizan" that can be equipped on both hands, an interchangeable clenched-teeth battle face, and the abdomen can be replaced with the face of "Lazengann" to recreate the pose of reversing and absorbing Anti-Spiral Power. The Spiral Power flame effects on the back feature an original detachable mechanism, further enhancing the figure's posability.
