World-renowned Hong Kong toy manufacturer Hot Toys is launching a new Marvel Comics-themed product – the "Superior Iron Man" 1/6th scale collectible figure, with a suggested retail price of HKD 2,680, and pre-orders will open soon!
Superior Iron Man first appeared in the 2014 major event "Axis," a dark version of Tony Stark born after his morality was inverted by magic. In the story, originally righteous heroes and evil villains swapped personalities; while most characters eventually returned to normal, Tony successfully resisted the magic's influence, retaining his evil persona and becoming a narcissistic, ruthless, and extremely dangerous technological tyrant.
This Superior Iron Man 1/6th scale collectible figure adopts Stark's Endo-Sym liquid armor design from the comics, crafted with high-grade alloy materials. The sculpt faithfully recreates its streamlined and highly futuristic appearance, while the high-quality outer shell, presented with exquisite electroplating technology, showcases Stark's most extreme innovation and self-aggrandizement!
The head sculpt section includes two styles: one based on the comic's appearance and a fully enclosed helmet. The deep blue eyes feature an articulated mechanism for fine-tuning the gaze, realistically capturing his often unfathomable expression from the comics! The figure features LED light-up functions in the arms, hands, legs, abdomen, and chest arc reactor, powered by a single USB-C interface, emitting a powerful blue glow when switched on!
