DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn recently revealed that a new "Wonder Woman" reboot film is actively in development, and today, The Wrap has announced the project's screenwriter: Ana Nogueira. While DC Studios and Warner Bros. Pictures have yet to cast the new Diana Prince, the creative force shaping Wonder Woman behind the scenes has now been set.

Nogueira is clearly a talent Gunn relies heavily on, as this marks her third consecutive DC film project. She is also penning the new "Supergirl" movie, slated for release next June, and the live-action "Teen Titans" film, which is currently in development. Gunn himself earlier confirmed the "Wonder Woman" news by reposting a related update on Threads. The director for the film has yet to be officially announced.
