Bandai Candy, the Shokugan division of Bandai Co., Ltd. Japan, is releasing a new product based on the classic anime "Keroro Gunso" – "Keroro Gunso Character Mascot & Gummy!". The suggested retail price is 350 JPY per box, with an anticipated release in December 2025!
"Keroro Gunso" (ケロロ軍曹) is a monthly manga series created by Japanese manga artist Mine Yoshizaki. It was adapted into a TV anime by Sunrise in 2004, telling the story of Sergeant Keroro and his platoon, dispatched from "Keron Star" for reconnaissance, who accidentally expose themselves and end up living a boisterous comedic daily life at the Hinata household. The official announcement was recently made that a brand new theatrical film will be released in summer 2026, which is highly anticipated!
This "Keroro Gunso Character Mascot & Gummy!" will include one character mascot with a Muscat grape-flavored Keroro-shaped gummy. It features the five members of the Keroro Platoon: Sergeant Keroro, Private Second Class Tamama, Corporal Giroro, Sergeant Major Kururu, and Lance Corporal Dororo. Each character comes in two versions, a regular and a clear color version, making a total of ten styles. All mascots come with a ball chain, making them super cute whether displayed as collectibles or hung on a backpack as a charm!
