BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced a new product in its original 'LINK TRAVELERS' series, which spans both Shokugan and Gashapon toy categories. This new item, linked to the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX", is the "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX World Machu Coordinate Set", slated for release in January 2026.
The 'LINK TRAVELERS' product line includes the 'SIDE:C' Shokugan series and the 'SIDE:G' Gashapon series. Both will feature a range of original character bodies with common specifications, along with weapons, armor, and other accessories. The difference lies in the Shokugan and Gashapon versions having their own exclusive color schemes and equipment, allowing for free mix-and-match play with bodies and accessories from both lines.
The protagonist, Yoha Amate, is a 17-year-old high school girl living a peaceful daily life in the SIDE6 space colony. In this world where both sky and gravity are artificial, her longing for freedom and the unknown creates a sense of unreality. One day, she coincidentally meets Nean, a war refugee girl involved in smuggling, and by chance becomes the pilot of the mysterious Mobile Suit "Gundam QuuuuuuX". She is then drawn into the illegal MS dueling competition "Battle Group Showdown". From then on, Yoha adopts the alias "Machu" and plunges into intense battles.
The newly released "Machu Coordinate Set" centers around a posable figure of Machu. It includes accessories such as a pilot suit, casual wear, sportswear, as well as various expressions, hairstyles, backpacks, hats, and shoes. The upper and lower halves of almost every outfit can be freely combined, allowing for diverse and varied styling!
