The 'ROBOT魂 ver. A.N.I.M.E.' series of robot-themed action figures, released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectors' toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, has announced the latest product from "Mobile Suit Gundam MSV": the "Prototype Dom ver. A.N.I.M.E. ~MS MUSEUM~", scheduled for release in December 2025.
The YMS-09 Prototype Dom is a prototype mobile suit developed by Zimmad Company of the Principality of Zeon during the One Year War. This machine is the prototype for the MS-09 Dom series, developed based on the Gouf Prototype Test Type. It features thermonuclear jet engines in its legs, enabling high-speed hover movement on land. Its armaments include a Heat Saber and a Giant Bazooka, designed to leverage its high mobility.
The "ROBOT魂 Prototype Dom ver. A.N.I.M.E. ~MS MUSEUM~" is a revised version of the previously released standard edition. The entire machine has been repainted with a more substantial and weighty color scheme, and new body markings, derived from official design sketches and illustrations, have been applied, enriching the exterior details. When paired with the dedicated display stand featuring the machine's name, it further evokes the premium feel of a museum exhibit.
For armaments, it similarly includes a "Giant Bazooka" and "Heat Saber," allowing for dynamic combat poses when combined with the flexible articulation design. Additionally, accessories such as the "Mass Production Zaku ver. A.N.I.M.E." compatible thumb hand and a wrench are included.
