Japanese toy company Kotobukiya (コトブキヤ) has announced its brand new series "OSHI WORKS" to expand its global market. The first wave will feature characters from the popular game "Silent Hill 2," launching with "Bubble Head Nurse" and followed by "Abstract Daddy." Currently, only the colored prototypes have been revealed; please look forward to more detailed product information!
The "OSHI WORKS" series aims to offer reasonably priced figures with a rich selection of characters, broadly showcasing the appeal of popular works and making them easily accessible to more fans. Additionally, a more affordable sister brand, "OSHI WORKS mini," will be introduced, providing collectors with even more choices.
The "OSHI WORKS Bubble Head Nurse" colored prototype, revealed ahead of time, is expected to be the series' first product. It faithfully recreates the form-fitting nurse uniform, mini-skirt, and sexy suspender black stockings. However, the smooth, bubble-like fleshy head creates a truly terrifying combination. The figure captures the twisted body posture while walking, evoking the image of her limping towards the player, dragging a metal pipe...!
Also revealed is the "OSHI WORKS Abstract Daddy" colored prototype, resembling a twisted monster on a bed. It truly looks terrifying and disgusting. Considering the shadows it represents, one can't help but wonder... could this really be commercialized one day?
