Japan's GOOD SMILE COMPANY is launching its "Remaster Project" series, which reconstructs classic figures with the latest technology. The first release in this exciting new line will be the "Hitagi Senjougahara Remaster Project" 1/7 scale figure, themed after the Monogatari series! With a suggested retail price of 22,000 JPY, it is scheduled for release in September 2026!
The "Hitagi Senjougahara Remaster Project" re-releases the "Hitagi Senjougahara" figure, originally released in 2011, now in an impressive 1/7 scale. While retaining its iconic sculpt, the figure has been adjusted to 24 cm. To complement this size upgrade, the coloring has been refined with the latest technology, and the base has been upgraded to an acrylic, transparent material with an enhanced texture, further accentuating its aesthetic appeal when displayed. These meticulous adjustments allow this groundbreaking classic figure, 14 years after its initial debut, to be significantly enhanced through advancements in manufacturing technology and reappear in an even better form.
The angle of her cool, backward-glancing facial expression has also been subtly adjusted, alongside more natural hair gradient painting and skin tone changes. The stationery scattered from beneath her skirt has evolved into a more natural floating appearance. The unique structure allows the figure to stand without supports, solely with the stationery, creating a captivating effect that is both natural and eye-catching. The figure includes interchangeable hand parts holding a stapler, as well as a regular interchangeable skirt part.
