Following "Cyborg Alien" and "Cyborg Alien Three-Body Set," Japan's Megahouse toy company is once again releasing a new themed product in its "Occultic Soft Vinyl Collection" series, which brings to life UMA (Unidentified Mysterious Animal) characters from the popular anime "Dandadan"—the "Dover Demon" soft vinyl figure. It has a suggested retail price of 7,480 JPY and is scheduled for release in late February 2026!
The Dover Demon (Mantis Shrimp Alien) appears in episodes 8-10 of the anime's "Cyborg Alien Arc." He is strong and robust, immune to all poisons, and possesses incredibly powerful fists, which increase tenfold in power when in water. After drinking the nutritional drink developed by the Cyborg Aliens, his physical abilities are amplified 24 times. His cooperation with the Cyborg Aliens and Nessie once put Momo and her group in a difficult situation, but in reality, he is just a good father working hard to support his sick son.
This Dover Demon soft vinyl figure stands approximately 15 cm tall and adopts his iconic pose from the series when he's preparing to attack. The sculpting faithfully reproduces his incredibly muscular physique, capturing the tension of his muscle definition. Details such as the wrinkles on his gauntlets, briefs, and tie accessories are exquisitely recreated, and the yellow-toned colors from the anime are restored through painting, perfectly recreating Dover Demon's appearance as he debuted in the series! This Dover Demon can also be displayed with his son, "Chiquitita" (チキチータ), who is being released simultaneously. Pre-ordering the set on the Premium Bandai official website will even include the milk accessory given by Grandma Hoshiko!
