Joining the cast this season are Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, who recently debuted in the new "Superman" film; Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern Guy Gardner; Sean Gunn as Maxwell Lord; and Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr. Grillo is expected to have a significant role in Season 2, as his character seeks revenge on John Cena's Peacemaker, who was ordered to kill Flag's son in "The Suicide Squad".
