Chinese model manufacturer Hobby Sakura has unveiled the developing painted prototype of their new scale figure, "Guren: Black Shadow - Longing Flower 1/4 Scale Figure," from the popular mobile game "Goddess of Victory: NIKKE." It is scheduled for release within 2026.
The highly popular NIKKE, "Guren," was once a member of a mass-produced close-quarters combat NIKKE unit a century ago, participating in the first Rapture invasion. Unlike her current image of drowning sorrows in alcohol and having a lax attitude, "Guren: Black Shadow" at that time was an extremely belligerent, teetotaling berserker who constantly honed her martial arts. However, she was the sole survivor after the war, and the sword she now wields is "Flower Without Ten Days Red," a memento from her fallen sister, "Janghwa."
The "Guren: Black Shadow - Longing Flower 1/4 Scale Figure" is based on her in-game costume "Good Day: Lotus." Standing at an impressive height of approximately 45 cm, it brings to life Guren's cool, battle-ready pose as she draws her sword. The figure also sculpts Guren's voluptuous figure, along with the light and dynamic fabric of her attire, creating a captivating and alluring design. Intricate detailing, color application, and printing are used to faithfully recreate the costume's embroidery, patterns, metallic accessories, and the ornate designs on her scabbard.
