Takarajimasha, a Japanese publisher renowned for its magazines, books, and brand-appendix merchandise, is releasing a new Star Wars-themed product: the "Darth Vader Room Light BOOK." It has a suggested retail price of 4,939 JPY and is scheduled for release on September 22, 2025!
"Darth Vader," the "Dark Lord" who first appeared in the 1977 film Star Wars (later retitled Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope), is undoubtedly one of the most famous villain characters in film history. Even those unfamiliar with Star Wars are surely acquainted with his oppressive space samurai appearance and his suffocating breathing sound!
This "Star Wars Darth Vader Room Light BOOK" will introduce Anakin's life from Chosen One to his fall as Darth Vader, along with his memorable quotes and other content. However, the absolute highlight is the included Darth Vader helmet-shaped night light! The night light itself stands approximately 9.5 cm tall. When activated, its eyes emit a red glow, and it features his iconic breathing sound and lightsaber effects, allowing you to experience the feeling of him emerging from the darkness within the Tantive IV's corridor, as seen in Rogue One! The night light boasts a wireless design and includes an approximately 1-hour auto-off timer, so you can use it anywhere you like without worrying about forgetting to turn it off!
