The "VIBRATION STARS" product series, released by BANPRESTO, a prize figure brand under Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company, and known for recreating characters in dynamic poses as they unleash their moves, will release two new figures in December 2025 from the dark wasteland-style work "GACHIAKUTA": "Ludo" and "Zanka"! This article will provide information on the "VIBRATION STARS Zanka" figure.
"GACHIAKUTA," created by Japanese manga artist Kei Urana, is a post-apocalyptic wasteland fantasy manga that began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" in February 2022. In the story, people live in the "Heavenly Realm," which consists of wealthy districts and slums; there is also the dark "Abyss," where the people of the Heavenly Realm dump all their garbage and criminals.
The protagonist, a young boy named Ludo, was originally a descendant of criminals living in the slums. Falsely accused of murder, he was tried and exiled to the Abyss. Waking up in the endless junkyard of the Abyss, Ludo, though barely alive, was attacked by garbage monsters called "Hunters." At this moment, a mysterious man appeared before Ludo, transforming his umbrella into a powerful weapon with incredible strength, instantly destroying a large number of Hunters. This man, named Enjin, called himself a "Scavenger," saw potential in Ludo, and invited him to join an organization also called Scavengers.
Zanka is Ludo's mentor, an excellent Scavenger from a prestigious family. His weapon is a blue staff resembling the traditional Japanese weapon "sasumata," which Zanka calls his "Love Stick." In their first encounter, he and Ludo immediately disliked each other and got into a fight, ultimately ending in a miserable situation where he was attacked by feces (laughs). This VIBRATION STARS figure of Zanka depicts him in a battle-ready pose, holding his Love Stick and lowering his center of gravity, which looks quite cool when displayed. It faithfully reproduces his facial contours, gray and black two-tone hair, blue tassel earrings, Scavenger outfit adorned with blue accessories, and the intricate details of his Love Stick.
