GOODSMILECOMPANY Japan's "Nendoroid PLUS" rubber character model series, which aims to retain the cuteness of Nendoroids while offering a more accessible price and adorable designs, will release four products based on the popular anime "Bocchi the Rock!" — the "Hitori Gotoh," "Nijika Ijichi," "Ryo Yamada," and "Ikuyo Kita" rubber character models. Each is priced at 1,400 JPY and is scheduled for release in November 2025!
The story of "Bocchi the Rock!" follows the protagonist, Hitori Gotoh, also known as "Bocchi," who constantly practices guitar with the dream of forming a band, but her social anxiety prevents her from achieving it. One day after school, by chance, she meets Nijika Ijichi, who is struggling to find a guitarist for her band, leading Bocchi to join "Kessoku Band." Together with bassist Ryo Yamada and Ikuyo Kita, the two begin their musical journey, and Bocchi gradually confronts her social anxiety.
These four products feature the four members of Kessoku Band as approximately 8 cm tall character models, depicted in relaxed sitting poses. Their Shuka High School and Shimokita High School uniform designs are faithfully recreated in an adorable proportion. Distinctive accessories like Bocchi's pink jacket and Nijika's bow are also meticulously reproduced. Their expressions and poses perfectly capture each character's personality, making them incredibly charming when displayed together!
