Danish toy company LEGO and American sports equipment company Nike have joined forces. In addition to the LEGO set "43008 Nike Dunk" released in July, the previously introduced "Nike Air Max Dn × LEGO" footwear, short-sleeved T-shirt, and basketball will also be available starting August 1st.
First and foremost, it's important to note that the current footwear and T-shirt offerings are primarily for children, with sizes available in Big Kids' sizes. The Nike Air Max Dn × LEGO features a vibrant yellow as its main color. Not only does the upper boast a granular texture reminiscent of LEGO bricks, but the Dynamic Air cushioning also incorporates details like LEGO minifigure heads, LEGO studs, "Dn air" lettering, and Max, a character from the Nike Air Max series. Coupled with the LEGO logo on the tongue, Nike logos on both sides, and the Nike × LEGO emblem on the heel, the overall design is truly stunning and highly distinctive. It's such a shame that only Big Kids' sizes are available; even our editor would love to wear them!
The short-sleeved T-shirt and basketball also share a yellow main color. The front of the T-shirt features a LEGO minifigure dribbling a basketball, with the classic NIKE swoosh logo layered behind the minifigure. The LEGO minifigure's torso piece displays the Nike × LEGO logo, while the adjacent numbers 72 and 32 represent the year NIKE first released footwear (1972) and the founding year of the LEGO Group (1932), respectively. The basketball, which most adult LEGO fans might actually use, is a size 7 and also features the new Nike × LEGO emblem.
