BANDAI SPIRITS HOBBY Division in Japan is set to release its latest product, the 'HG 1/144 Galluss-J', from the anime series 'Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ' on August 8, 2025. Ahead of its release, official new information including the product's box art design and actual sample images have been unveiled.
After the Gryps Conflict, the 'Neo Zeon' led by Haman Karn, in preparation for invading Earth, gathered former Zeon military technicians and developed the new ground combat mobile suit 'AMX-101 Galluss-J' based on the 'MS-07 Gouf'. This was also the mobile suit piloted by Neo Zeon officer Mashymre Cello upon his first appearance in the series. This unit inherits some of the Gouf's design concepts, featuring built-in launchers in its left arm fingers, and incorporating modern new technologies such as a movable frame and Gundarium alloy. Its distinctive main weapon is the 'Energy Gun', which combines the functions of a beam rifle and a missile launcher.
The 'HG 1/144 Galluss-J' is produced using Bandai's latest color separation and part division technology, extensively reproducing the colors of various parts of the fuselage with multiple molding colors, recreating its wide and heavy armor design and numerous thrusters across the body. The hip joint parts can be pulled down to expand the range of motion for the legs.
By swapping parts, the head's mono-eye camera can shift its gaze, the shoulder missile pods can be recreated in their deployed state, and the arm can replicate its extended/retracted state for punching attacks. Armaments include the Energy Gun, Beam Saber, and parts to recreate the launcher built into the left palm.
