The popular tokusatsu and monster-themed soft vinyl toy series, 'MOVIE MONSTER,' released by Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced its latest products from the movie "Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla": "MOVIE MONSTER Dynamic Godzilla (2002) Feat. Kokuryu Kobo" and "MOVIE MONSTER Dynamic Mechagodzilla (2002) Feat. Kokuryu Kobo." Both items are now available for limited sale at the official Godzilla Store in Japan.

The movie "Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla," released in 2002, describes how in 1999, Godzilla landed on Japan's Boso Peninsula with a typhoon, causing significant devastation. The Anti-Beast Maser Cannons of the Special Self-Defense Force fired fiercely in the storm but had no effect, instead enraging Godzilla, who retaliated with his atomic breath and stomps. After this defeat, the Japanese government decided to salvage the skeleton of the "First Godzilla," which had been destroyed by the Oxygen Destroyer, and use its DNA to create the powerful anti-G weapon, Mechagodzilla (Type-3 Kiryu). Four years later, the completed Mechagodzilla would face Godzilla, who had landed again....

This time, the "Godzilla" and "Type-3 Kiryu" released in the 'Dynamic' sub-series were sculpted by the renowned Japanese monster modeling group Kokuryu Kobo. They feature collector-friendly sizes of 15.5cm and 20cm respectively. Their dynamic poses recreate the classic movie poster scene of Kiryu flying through the air and Godzilla looking up and roaring. Additionally, various color applications are used to reproduce Kiryu's silver-white armor and Godzilla's yellowish claws.
