Japan's MegaHouse toy company, under its high-quality action figure brand "VARIABLE ACTION HEROES" (V.A.H), has officially unveiled a new product based on the popular anime and manga series "One Piece" – the "Monkey D. Luffy Gear Four Boundman" action figure. The suggested retail price is 17,600 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in late February 2026!
Luffy's Gear Four "Muscle Balloon" first appeared in Chapter 784 of the manga. Luffy inflates the gaps in his Armament Haki-hardened arm muscles with air, causing his muscles to swell and generate high-speed, super-strong combat power and elasticity. "Boundman" (バウンドマン) is the form where Haki is concentrated throughout his entire body, focusing on elasticity.
After a long wait, Gear Four Luffy is finally an action figure! This V.A.H Monkey D. Luffy Gear Four Boundman action figure stands approximately 20 cm tall. It adopts the appearance of Luffy when he first used Gear Four in front of everyone in Dressrosa, recreating Luffy's inflated look after his body is filled with air. The sculpting showcases the lean muscle lines on his rounded body and the scar on his chest, while the wrinkles on Lucy's sunflower shirt and jeans are also exquisitely reproduced!
The exquisite paintwork faithfully recreates the red and black Armament Haki wrapped around his arms, reproducing the reflective visual effect under light. The smoke effects swirling around him are presented with translucent material combined with paintwork, significantly enhancing the overall impact! Accessories include two interchangeable face parts and two interchangeable hands. Judging from the current product images, the waist articulation appears to be quite limited, but the arm and leg articulation remains highly flexible! Due to the top-heavy design, it likely cannot stand on its own, but it can be stably posed in various dynamic and cool ways with the dedicated acrylic stand featuring a cool steam pattern!
