The anime-themed high-quality character pre-painted figure series launched by Japanese figure manufacturer MegaHouse, the 'Lucrea' series, has officially announced the latest product from the 'Gundam 45th Anniversary x Hatsune Miku' collaboration project, the 'Hatsune Miku x Wing Gundam Zero EW', scheduled for release in June 2026.
The 'Gundam 45th Anniversary x Hatsune Miku' collaboration project, announced in October 2024, invited multiple artists to create illustrations merging Hatsune Miku with famous Gundam mobile suits. The illustration brought to life this time is by artist neco, which combines Hatsune Miku's image with the angelic wings of the protagonist mobile suit 'Wing Gundam Zero EW' from 'Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz', while also dressing her in a white military uniform in the style of the heroine, Relena.
The 'Lucrea Hatsune Miku x Wing Gundam Zero EW', at an impressive height of approximately 27 cm, faithfully recreates the military uniform, magnificent wings, and elegant conducting pose infused with musical elements from the original illustration. It meticulously captures Miku's serene smile, her dynamically flowing twin-tails, the wings, and her attire. Furthermore, it utilizes clear parts and rich color applications to express the translucent sheen of her hair, the golden tassels and embroidery on her outfit, and the cosmic pattern on the inside of her skirt. The pure white base design not only incorporates fallen feathers but also features elements such as a violin, a mask, and a sword, connecting to the other four Gundam pilots: Quatre, Trowa, Duo, and Wufei. It also bears the English title 'GUNDAM-W Endless Waltz'.
