To commemorate the upcoming brand exhibition 'TAMASHII NATION 2025', scheduled from November 14-16, 2025, BANDAI SPIRITS' TAMASHII NATIONS collector's toy division in Japan has announced the popular die-cast toy 'METAL BUILD' series' commemorative product from "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED", the "Providence Gundam CLIMAX BATTLE Ver.". For detailed sales information, please refer to the official website.
The ZGMF-X13A Providence Gundam was a mobile suit developed by the Z.A.F.T. military, boasting top-tier performance in C.E. 71. During the Second Battle of Jachin Due, it was piloted by elite commander Rau Le Creuset in the decisive battle against the Earth Alliance Forces. This unit was equipped with a nuclear engine, Neutron Jammer Canceller, DRAGOON System, G.U.N.D.A.M. COMPLEX, PS armor, and other advanced technologies, giving it cutting-edge performance for its era. It could perform long-range bombardment with its "Judicium" Beam Rifle, and its disc-shaped backpack was further equipped with 11 "DRAGOON Systems" featuring multiple gunports, enabling all-range attacks through Creuset's superhuman spatial awareness.
The main body of the "METAL BUILD Providence Gundam CLIMAX BATTLE Ver." retains the design and color scheme of the regular version, developed by designer Yoichi Sakamoto's team and supervised by "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED" mechanical animation director Satoshi Shigeta. At an impressive height of approximately 33.5 cm, it incorporates the METAL BUILD aesthetic, featuring richer armor lines, layering, and body markings, along with various shades of gray paintwork to differentiate material textures. The torso, joints, and other areas are constructed with die-cast parts, presenting a rich, heavy metallic texture.
Regarding its armaments, the powerful "Judicium" Beam Rifle features an original gimmick that allows various parts like the barrel and stock to deploy, transforming it into a high-output mode. The "Composite Weapon Shield System" on the left arm can not only attach beam saber effects but also features an original beam oscillation deployment mechanism. The disc-shaped "DRAGOON System" base on the backpack also has a deployment gimmick, allowing the outer armor to slide open and reveal the internal structure, enhancing detail and silhouette variation.
All 11 "DRAGOON Systems," the unit's most distinctive armament, can be detached and displayed using the newly designed "rotating dedicated stands" included with this version, allowing for powerful all-range attack poses. While the display base pattern remains the same, its molded color has been changed from white to black.
