Renowned poster design and toy company MONDO recently unveiled its latest MARVEL product, the "Galactus" soft vinyl toy! Pre-orders are scheduled to open today (the 12th) at 11 A.M. (CT.) on the MONDO official website, with a suggested retail price of US$200 and a limited quantity of 500 units.
In MARVEL comics, the cosmic entity "Galactus," who sustains himself by devouring planets, first appeared in issue #48 of the 1966 comic series "Fantastic Four." He is a terrifying villain created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. In the eyes of humanity, this cosmic god appears as a giant clad in heavy armor, so immense that he seems to have no discernible boundaries.
As the largest entry in MONDO's Marvel Soft Vinyl product line, this Galactus figure stands approximately 38 cm tall. The overall design was helmed by renowned artist James Groman, with sculpting handled by Darrel Raymundo. It perfectly recreates Galactus's classic helmet and his appearance clad in blue and magenta armor, with finely sculpted, powerful musculature. What's even more fantastic is that this piece also includes interchangeable hands, a Krackle energy effect, his herald Silver Surfer, and the Baxter Building for display and play.
▼ Truly colossal! Its presence is not to be underestimated!
