Action and comedy veterans Kevin Hart and John Cena, who previously teamed up for "Die Hart 2: Die Harter" and are both part of "The Fast Saga" universe, are set to reunite for another action-comedy. This comes after an exclusive report from Deadline.

Deadline reports that Hart and Cena are confirmed to star in and co-produce Netflix's upcoming action-comedy, "The Leading Man." The script, penned by Jon Hoeber and Erich Hoeber — the screenwriting brothers behind "The Meg" franchise — is an adaptation of a comic created by Jeremy Haun and B. Clay Moore.
Cena is set to portray a narcissistic action star, a character type that echoes his recent Amazon action-comedy "Heads of State." Hart will play another actor starring opposite him. The duo finds themselves embroiled in a global crisis, forcing them to save the world. Cena's character will then make the shocking discovery that Hart's character is, in fact, a genuine secret agent, leading Cena's character to a lesson in humility.
