PLEX Corporation of Japan, produced by X-PLUS Corporation, has announced the latest product from their popular soft vinyl figure series 'DEFOREAL', which incorporates intricate realistic details into a cute deformed (Q-version) scale. This new item, 'Hedorah Night Color Ver.', is from the movie 'Godzilla vs. Hedorah' and is scheduled for release in December 2025.
The pollution monster 'Hedorah', which appeared in the movie 'Godzilla vs. Hedorah', is a mineral lifeform originating from space. Upon arriving on Earth, it was affected by human environmental pollution, continuously aggregating from countless tadpole-like individuals and growing enormous by absorbing pollutants such as sludge and exhaust gases. Its body is composed of highly toxic sludge, rendering most physical attacks ineffective, and its toxicity is so potent that it can even dissolve Godzilla's skin.
The 'DEFOREAL Hedorah Night Color Ver.' is a modified version based on the previously released standard edition, featuring Hedorah's irregular, sludge-like body in a deformed (Q-version) scale with a total height of approximately 14 cm. The entire body has been repainted with a darker color scheme, depicting the intense battle scene with Godzilla at the foot of Mount Fuji. Its massive, vivid red eyes not only reproduce the iris patterns but also incorporate a built-in LED light-up mechanism, allowing them to emit an eerie red glow when illuminated!
