The manga series "Elfen Lied," created by Japanese manga artist Lynn Okamoto, tells the story of humanity's unexplained mutation, leading to the emergence of female mutants known as Diclonius. These beings develop horn-like protrusions resembling cat ears on their heads and can manipulate invisible, transparent vectors, possessing astonishing power capable of destroying humanity. Consequently, the Japanese government established an isolated island research facility to quarantine and study the Diclonius.
The story begins with the mutant girl Lucy brutally slaughtering security personnel and escaping from the research facility. During her escape, she suffers a head injury from a bullet, resulting in memory loss and a split personality. She is rescued by the protagonist Kouta, and due to her only making cat-like sounds, her innocent and simple personality is named Nyu.
The Elite Bust "Elfen Lied Lucy" 1/4 Scale Bust draws inspiration from the anime's memorable and intensely violent opening scene of her escape from the research lab. It perfectly blends elegance and savagery, depicting Lucy with her bandages unraveling and research equipment shattered, creating a striking pose. Lucy's pink hair flows naturally, and her closed eyes appear calm yet conceal danger. Several translucent vectors, made from clear resin with a subtle pearlescent effect, extend from her back, creating a fantastical display of invisible power manifesting... simultaneously hinting at the imminent launch of a brutal, unseen attack! Blood streams down her palm, made even more striking against the contrast of her fair skin!
