ULTRAMAN ARK
《Ultraman Ark》 is a tokusatsu TV series produced by Tsuburaya Productions, which began airing on July 6, 2024. It is also the 30th work in the Ultraman series. It tells the active story of Ultraman Ark, a giant of light who fights after merging with Yuma Hishino, an investigator for the Monster Disaster Prevention Science Investigation Agency, commonly known as "SKIP".
《Ultraman Ark》 is a giant of light born when Yuma Hishino unleashes his imagination and merges with "Rudeon," a messenger of light from afar. His finishing move is the cross-shaped beam "Arc Final Rise (アークファイナライズ)" emitted by drawing a semicircle downwards with both hands to the right. In the final part of the movie, when restoring the separated ground, he even used a version of "Arc Final Rise (アークファイナライズ)" that drew a full circle. His appearance is very similar to the "strongest hero" Yuma drew as a child.
By changing the ARC Blocks, Ultraman Ark can equip 3 (or 4) armors (Solar Armor, Lunar Armor, Saturn Armor (a stage show exclusive form, golden armor like Saturn), Galaxy Armor). However, there is one condition for use: it can only be used when the Color Timer flashes red due to energy depletion.

Galaxy Armor
Ark absorbed the explosive energy of "Onikis" and created this strongest form of armor through the process of unleashing his imagination. The armor is shaped like a celestial galaxy. In addition to the chest, shoulders, and arms, armor is also attached to the legs. This super-powered armor can be donned by releasing the power of the "Galaxy Armor Block" through the "ARC Riser." The armor can separate from its surroundings and float, rotating in the air, using the four surrounding Ark Feathers for offense and defense. Furthermore, it can perform spatial transfers through the space-time gate—the Ark Feather Ring. During the battle with the evil monster Rebudios in the movie, Ark was attacked, causing the armor to disperse and revert to blocks, which were then worn by Gil Ark. First appearance: Episode 15!
The main body stands approximately 150 mm tall. The coloring and paint application are excellent! The eyes also use transparent material, which earns it many points in appearance; it doesn't look too "plasticky." The QC is good, with performance in every aspect being above standard. The articulation of SHF figures is generally not bad, and the joint tightness is moderate, though due to its design, the poseability is only average. Accessories include 3 types of interchangeable left and right wrists, a chest energy indicator light, and the ARC Eye Sword, allowing for the recreation of classic poses and forms from the show. Of course, the decision that all armors are DLC is actually not bad. However, it's a bit hard to accept that a single set of Galaxy Armor is even more expensive than the main figure. But I've always loved final forms, so these expenses are necessary. Plus, it can also be used on Evil Ark later, so never mind... Friends who like Ark shouldn't miss it!
