Prime 1 Studio 'Jurassic Park III' Pteranodon 1/6 Scale Statue Bonus Version, Featuring Many Hungry Pteranodon Hatchlings!

Japanese high-end statue manufacturer Prime 1 Studio's "Legacy Museum Collection" (レガシーミュージアムコレクション) statue series recently released the Tyrannosaurus Rex from 'Jurassic World: Rebirth'. This new dinosaur product, however, is the 1/6 scale statue bonus version of the "Pteranodon" (プテラノドン) from 'Jurassic Park III'! Shipment is expected to begin from November 2026 to February 2027, with a suggested retail price of 175,890 JPY (tax included).

In the film 'Jurassic Park III', the Pteranodon not only snatched Paul and Amanda's son Eric, dropping him back into its nest to feed its own hatchlings, but also the scene where its massive silhouette gradually approached Dr. Alan Grant's group is undoubtedly memorable. For this release, Prime 1 Studio has not only sculpted the Pteranodon but also faithfully recreated the dilapidated "bird cage" facility it used as a nest, along with the Pteranodon hatchlings. Standing approximately 68 cm tall and 74 cm long, the statue vividly portrays the destroyed remnants of the bird cage, as well as the Pteranodon's sharp head, wing membranes, and contracted back muscles. Even the skull that Eric used to throw at the Pteranodon hatchlings in the film is meticulously placed there (chuckles).

Purchases made through the official Prime 1 Studio Japan store will also receive a bonus Pteranodon hatchling statue, approximately 27 cm tall, poised on a rock, ready to spread its wings and fly. One certainly wouldn't describe them as "cute," as despite their small size in the film, they are incredibly aggressive!
