Good Smile Company Shanghai branch, "Good Smile Arts Shanghai (GSAS)", a Japanese figure manufacturer, has announced the latest product from the popular anime "KILL la KILL", the "Ryuko Matoi Transformation Ver. 1/7 Scale Figure", scheduled for release in August 2026.
The protagonist, Ryuko Matoi, transfers to Honnouji Academy, ruled by the Kiryuin Zaibatsu, in search of her father's killer, leading to intense conflicts with the student council led by Satsuki Kiryuin. Although her personality is rough, she also possesses a gentle and delicate side, genuinely treating her best friend Mako Mankanshoku's family as her own after staying with them. Ryuko fights using her father's memento, "Senketsu the Kamui," and the weapon that killed her father, the "Scissor Blade." After activating "Life Fiber Synchronize," she gains even greater power to sever opponents' Life Fibers.
The "Ryuko Matoi Transformation Ver. 1/7 Scale Figure" is crafted at an approximate height of 23 cm, capturing her cool "Life Fiber Synchronize" transformation pose. The intricate sculpting expresses the dynamic movement of her flowing hair and skirt, her stern yet resolute gaze, and her beautiful figure curves faithfully recreated from the anime's design. The firm muscle definition and sharp transformation pose exude a sense of power. The base is designed based on the anime's title logo, enhanced with the "Scissor Blade" firmly plunged into the ground and a shattering effect, further elevating the overall impact of the figure.
