American and European toy brand Boss Fight Studio, known for its numerous licensed IPs such as Popeye and The Little Prince, has not only collaborated with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the "Garfield as Shredder and Odie as Bebop" but also simultaneously announced another new Garfield-themed product—the "Garfield's Halloween Adventure Pirate Garfield and Pirate Odie" articulated figure set, with a suggested retail price of US$44.99, slated for release in Q2 2026!
Garfield's Halloween Adventure is a television animated special that first aired in 1985, premiering on CBS on October 30th of that year. It tells the adventurous story of Garfield and Odie dressing up as pirates to go trick-or-treating on Halloween, and it was frequently broadcast during the Halloween season until the end of the 20th century.
This Pirate Garfield and Pirate Odie set celebrates the special program's 40th anniversary, specially transforming the two protagonists' pirate costumes from the show into articulated figures! The Garfield figure features 25 points of articulation and includes accessories such as a candy bag, a wooden sword, a pirate hat, interchangeable prosthetic limbs, and expressions. The Odie figure has 13 points of articulation and comes with a candy bag, interchangeable prosthetic limbs, and expression parts. Both figures utilize flat coloring and outlining techniques to faithfully recreate the classic cel-animated flat style, coupled with flexible articulation, allowing collectors to personally enjoy Garfield's iconic Halloween look!
