The completed transforming toy series "THE GATTAI", from MECHA SMILE, a mechanical-themed brand under Japanese model manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY, has announced its latest product from "The Brave Fighter of Sun Fighbird," the "Fighbird Display Base Set," scheduled for release in May 2026.
This product is a display base set designed to be used with the separately sold "THE GATTAI Fighbird" and "THE GATTAI Granbird." The base features a pattern inspired by the Magical Bracelet, and is equipped with auxiliary supports and various storage mechanisms. It can display the combined "Great Fighbird" and store all remaining parts. The gold-plated logo section beneath the base conceals a drawer for storing unused interchangeable hands and head parts.
Additionally, the product includes a "Great Fighbird Non-Transforming Head" that more closely matches its appearance in the show. By swapping parts, you can even recreate the damaged mask state seen in the final episode. The impressive flame effect part is for the "Fire Sword" in its "Power-Up State," allowing you to recreate Fighbird's signature special move pose.
