BANDAI SPIRITS' TAMASHII NATIONS collectors division is expanding its CineToy TAMASHII line of action figures, inspired by film and television, with a brand new release from "Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith." Fans can look forward to the "Mace Windu -Classic Ver.-" action figure, which will retail for 14,080 JPY and is slated for a June 2026 release.
Portrayed by actor Samuel L. Jackson in the prequel trilogy, Jedi Master Mace Windu is widely regarded as one of the most formidable warriors the Jedi Order had seen in a millennium. His iconic purple lightsaber was a personal request from Samuel L. Jackson to George Lucas when he accepted the role, later established in lore as being crafted from an exceptionally rare purple Kyber crystal.
Standing approximately 15 cm tall, the new "Mace Windu -Classic Ver.-" action figure builds upon the 2016 release. It features a newly sculpted head, meticulously crafted using Tamashii Digital Coloring Technology to capture Samuel L. Jackson's facial features. The Jedi robes sport a distinct yellowish hue, and a significant upgrade comes in the form of a new fabric Jedi Master robe accessory. This robe is embedded with wires along its edges, allowing for dynamic, flowing poses. Accessories include an alternate head sculpt, two sets of interchangeable hands, a lightsaber hilt, a standard lightsaber effect part, and a new motion-blur lightsaber effect.
