Universal Studios Japan (USJ) has preemptively unveiled a preview of the "Harry Potter" Time-Turner themed popcorn bucket on its official X account, with sales expected to begin on September 1, 2025!
In the film "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban," Hermione received the Time-Turner from Professor McGonagall, allowing her to take on more classes than time would normally permit. She eventually used it with Harry to travel back in time to save Sirius and Buckbeak. This Time-Turner themed popcorn bucket was previously released as a limited-edition item at Universal Studios Beijing earlier this year, and now it's finally traveling through time to Universal Studios Japan!
The popcorn bucket transforms Hermione's Time-Turner hourglass pendant from the film into a thickened, drum-shaped storage container. It boasts a large capacity of 1200 ml, with popcorn accessible from the side. The front features a functional hourglass lid, while the back is transparent plastic printed with the Universal Studios and Wizarding World logos. The hourglass lid is detachable, and the interior is also transparent plastic, allowing you to see the delicious popcorn inside! The outer, gyroscope-like rings can rotate, just like in the film, to adjust the number of hours to rewind. It can also be carried on your back using the attached strap, allowing all toy enthusiasts to proudly display their magical time-traveling artifact!
