Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company's prize figure brand BANPRESTO has announced the upcoming release of the latest prize figure from the 'Gundam 45th Anniversary x Hatsune Miku' collaboration project: the 'Zaku Kigurumi [Hatsune Miku Ver.] Character Figure', scheduled for September 4, 2025.
The 'Gundam 45th Anniversary x Hatsune Miku' collaboration project, announced in October 2024, will progressively release a large number of model kits, toys, and merchandise featuring Gundam IP and Hatsune Miku in 2025. It will also include collaborations with Bandai Namco's 'Taiko no Tatsujin' and 'Gundam EXVS. series'. Furthermore, the official theme song 'Idol Fighter (feat. Hatsune Miku)', a collaboration with Japanese music producer Mitchie M, has surpassed 2.7 million views since its release in March. The song not only remixes classic theme songs from multiple past 'Gundam' series and incorporates numerous Gundam references, but its MV also features Hatsune Miku illustrations created by multiple artists, blending various famous mobile suits from the 'Gundam' series.
This prize figure transforms the adorable 'Zaku Kigurumi Hatsune Miku' from the MV into a non-articulated figure approximately 15cm tall. It meticulously recreates the kigurumi suit modeled after the 'Zaku II', the backpack designed like a thruster pack, and stitching details throughout the body. Combining Hatsune Miku's large twin-tails and the leek in her hand, it perfectly captures her cute leek-spinning pose.
