Japanese model manufacturer WAVE (ウェーブ) has announced its latest product from the popular naval battle mobile game "Azur Lane": the "Atago: School Fantasia" (愛宕 学園トロイメライ) 1/7 scale PVC pre-painted figure! It is scheduled for release in September 2026, with a suggested retail price of 22,800 JPY (tax included).
In the game "Azur Lane," Atago is an SSR-class heavy cruiser belonging to the Sakura Empire faction, and is the younger sister of Takao, who is also a Sakura Empire heavy cruiser. Her prototype is the second ship of the Imperial Japanese Navy's Takao-class heavy cruisers, the IJN Atago. Her default in-game illustration depicts her as a busty cat-eared beauty in a form-fitting white military uniform and sheer black stockings, boasting captivating curves. Unlike the reserved Takao, Atago's words to the Commander are full of playful teasing, often referring to herself as "big sister." When her affection level reaches "Love," she seems to be overcome with desire, wanting to possess the Commander entirely. It's safe to say that many early players were drawn to the game because of the sisters Takao and Atago!
This three-dimensional rendition of Atago, based on her School Fantasia outfit, stands approximately 13.5 cm tall. It not only fully reproduces Atago's voluptuous physique and iconic animal ears but also captures the youthful high school vibe and super-short skirt she sports in her uniform, exuding an overall aura of dangerous allure! From every angle, her rounded bust line, the sensuous thighs encased in stockings, and her voluminous black hair crafted with translucent parts are impossible to ignore, radiating captivating charm. In addition to Atago herself, the figure comes with glossy leather-like loafers and a bag containing her ship's cannons.
