Japan's TAITO Corporation (株式会社タイトー) has established a new high-end statue brand, "GEN PRODUCTS," with its first release being the "Sam 1/7 Scale Statue" from "Death Stranding 2: On the Beach." The suggested retail price is 39,600 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in June 2026.
Developed by the Kojima Productions team led by renowned game creator Hideo Kojima and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE), the PS5 action-adventure game "Death Stranding 2: On the Beach" continues the story of its predecessor. In search of connections with humanity beyond the nascent America, legendary deliveryman Sam Porter Bridges embarks once again on a solitary journey, this time across the post-apocalyptic Australian continent.
"GEN PRODUCTS" aims to bring the sights and feelings of the game world into reality through its statues. The inaugural "GEN PRODUCTS Sam 1/7 Scale Statue" is fully supervised by Kojima Productions, meticulously crafted to exquisite detail, faithfully recreating Norman Reedus's likeness from the game, with his gaze into the distance brought to vivid life. Every detail of his Drawbridge armor suit, back armor, Odradek scanner, and even the Dollman doll are intricately reproduced! The base also features details like footprints, enriching the overall worldview.
The "BB Pod," his soul partner on his chest, can light up via vibration sensing, allowing one to feel the presence of the little one... Additionally, a physical three-person family photo is included, with aged colors, creases, and scratches, allowing you to hold the photo just like Sam and further experience his emotional state!
