Unix Square - Combot Combiner Optimus Prime
Unix Square presents another new series of Transformers, named "Combot".
Given the widespread licensing of Transformers, the market is flooded with countless Transformers products. Once the license is acquired, the most challenging task is how to make your company's product stand out! Therefore, Hong Kong local manufacturer Unix Square has launched a Transformers series featuring a "reconstruction" mode! It aims to attract you with high poseability, excellent sculpt, and most importantly, an affordable price!
The first product is Optimus Prime! Under the "Combot" series, Optimus Prime can be "reconstructed" from robot mode into truck mode. Starscream, Megatron, and more characters are coming soon. In addition to the mode change, this fully painted, super-posable action figure boasts over 50 points of articulation, with Optimus Prime standing approximately 19 cm tall in robot mode. Materials include die-cast parts, and both the eyes and Matrix of Leadership feature LED light-up functions.
All Transformers collectors surely know that Hasbro and Takara typically do not license out the rights for transformable Transformers figures. However, whether they are in need of funds or due to a strong past working relationship, Unix Square has successfully presented this Transformers series, featuring both robot and vehicle modes, through an assembly method!
It's unclear if this counts as an advantage... By removing some transformation functions, there were fewer constraints on the main body's articulation points, thus further safeguarding its poseability. The joints are very firm, so please pay special attention when handling. Additionally, the windshield is relatively fragile, so handle it carefully during transformation.
For a die-cast toy at this price point, it offers excellent value for money! Both the robot and vehicle modes are exceptionally well-represented. Fans of the Transformers series can confidently splurge on this line!
