Hollywood Collectibles Group (HCG), a production team skilled in creating movie prop replicas and large-scale statues, has announced its latest product from the 1987 sci-fi action film "RoboCop": the "RoboCop Helmet" (Robocop Lifesize Helmet) 1/1 scale prop replica! Shipping is expected to begin in Q4 2025, with a suggested retail price of US$499.95, limited to 500 units.
The story of "RoboCop" is set in the near future, in a Detroit (also referred to as hell by characters in the film) plagued by rampant crime and unrest. The protagonist is male police officer "Murphy," who has just been transferred to Detroit. However, soon after his arrival, Murphy is brutally murdered while venturing into a criminal hideout with his partner. Subsequently, Murphy's remains are recovered by the mega-corporation "Omni Consumer Products" (OCP) and transformed into a half-human, half-machine "RoboCop." Because some memories from his time as Murphy still linger, he continues to perform Murphy's signature move of holstering his gun into the side of his right thigh after a gun spin.
This RoboCop helmet, astonishingly recreated in 1/1 scale, is made from fiberglass and features a multi-layered metallic paint application, meticulously replicating the silver and bluish-purple hues emanating from RoboCop's helmet and armor on screen. The curved, smooth surface is truly stunning, and the "OCP POLICE·001" lettering on the side has also been faithfully reproduced. When displayed with its base, it stands approximately 43 cm tall, exuding a cold, futuristic technological feel and powerful presence. It's incredibly cool!
