Japanese model manufacturer Megahouse has announced the latest product in its 'G.M.G. (Gundam Military Generation)' series of Mobile Suit Gundam action soldier figures: the 'G.M.G. COLLECTION 11 Mobile Suit Gundam Earth Federation Forces Mirai Yashima', scheduled for release in January 2026.
Mirai Yashima was originally the daughter of the prestigious Yashima political family in Japan. Her father, a former high-ranking official in the Earth Federation Forces, opposed the government's policies, leading the entire family to be exiled to the SIDE7 colony. When the Principality of Zeon launched a surprise attack on the colony with their Zaku IIs, Mirai, evacuating aboard the White Base, became its helmswoman due to her expertise, assisting Captain Bright Noa. In the series, she developed feelings for fighter pilot Sleggar Law, but they were tragically separated during the Battle of Solomon, leaving Mirai with Sleggar's final kiss and countless tears. After the One Year War, Mirai married Captain Bright Noa and later gave birth to Hathaway, whose life was as fleeting as a flash of light.
The 'G.M.G. COLLECTION Mirai Yashima' is produced as an approximately 10 cm tall action figure. Its sculpt faithfully reproduces her distinctive facial features, hairstyle, and pink military uniform. The neck, torso, and limbs all feature flexible articulated joints, and with three pairs of interchangeable hand parts, dynamic poses can be achieved.
Furthermore, it can be linked with the separately sold 'G.M.G. COLLECTION Sleggar Law'. Using accessories such as the 'eating expression interchangeable head' and 'hamburger-holding hand' parts, you can recreate the scene where they thoroughly enjoy eating hamburgers!
