Hong Kong-based model manufacturer FLAME TOYS' "Furai Model" series will release a new product based on the animated series "Transformers: Animated" – the "Optimus Prime (Animation Ver.)" assembly model. The suggested retail price is US$45, with an estimated release in April 2026!
"Transformers: Animated," which premiered on Cartoon Network in the US in late 2007, was planned by the production teams behind "Teen Titans" and "Ben 10." It tells the story of Optimus Prime's team, who, after spending some time on Earth, face threats from Decepticons and evil humans.
This Optimus Prime (Animation Ver.) assembly model stands approximately 16 cm tall when completed. It features multi-color molded parts, eliminating the need for additional painting, making it very beginner-friendly! The design faithfully recreates Optimus Prime's imposing inverted triangle physique from the Animated series, with the angular character design also exquisitely presented. The molded red and blue colors perfectly reproduce the show's palette. While it does not possess a transformation function, its sculptural representation is outstanding!
