Japanese model maker MEGAHOUSE's affordable small-scale monster figure series "MONSTERS CHRONICLE" is releasing a new Yu-Gi-Oh! themed product – the "Black Skull Dragon" (ブラック・デーモンズ・ドラゴン) pre-painted figure. It has a suggested retail price of 8,580 JPY and is scheduled for release in February 2026!
Black Skull Dragon first appeared in episode 21 of the "Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters" anime. It is a monster summoned by Yami Yugi during his duel against the Paradox Brothers, by using a face-down Fusion to combine Summoned Skull with Joey Wheeler's Red-Eyes Black Dragon. Although it has no special effects after fusion, its ATK increased to a formidable 3200. Finally, with the help of Joey's Spell Card, it successfully defeated the Paradox Brothers' Gate Guardian!
This MONSTERS CHRONICLE Black Skull Dragon pre-painted figure stands approximately 8.5 cm tall. Its pose appears to be inspired by the card illustration, with intricate sculpting faithfully recreating its dark gray body and fierce countenance. The spread wings and sharp claws, combined with the flame effect on the base, create an overwhelming presence despite its small size, allowing collectors to display it perfectly without taking up much space!
