Chinese model brand CCSTOYS has officially announced its brand-new robot-themed finished model product series, 『ARTIFACT-X』. The first release in the series will be the 「Black Getter」 from the classic game 《Getter Robo Daikessen》, scheduled for release in December 2025.
Appearing exclusively in 《Getter Robo Daikessen》, the Black Getter is a single-seater guardian Getter Robo piloted by the player character, deployed in an emergency when the Saotome Research Lab was ambushed by the Insectoid Army. Due to the urgent battle situation, this unit was hastily assembled using spare parts, including the head of Shin Getter-1, the body of Getter Dragon, the right arm of Getter-2, and the left arm of Getter Robo Go. Although it lacks the ability to fly, burrow, or combine, it possesses power comparable to cutting-edge models, capable of unleashing powerful special moves such as 「Drill Rock Buster」 and 「Dark Chaos Dance」.
Compared to the brand's previous 『Tepoh』 series products, the 「ARTIFACT-X Black Getter」 boasts a more playable 20cm-class size. It also utilizes a highly durable alloy movable frame, incorporating a rich blend of modern popular styles such as segmented armor, high-density detailing, and a tall, slender proportion, reinterpreting this rare Daikessen version of the 「Black Getter」. The entire model features transparent blue parts and various metallic paint applications, including metallic black and metallic silver, to highlight the differences in the mechanical structures and glowing areas of each part of the unit.
The weaponry has also been significantly modified based on the original design. The back cape is divided into several wing-like segments that can be extensively deployed via movable axes, similar to Shin Getter-1. The right arm drill is now larger, with a third claw added around it, featuring an expansion mechanism. The left arm's cannon has been extensively restyled, boasting a more realistic structure. Additionally, accessories include Getter-1's 「Getter Tomahawk」 and Getter-3's 「Extendable Arm」, allowing for a wide array of dynamic battle poses.
