Following the "Yui Yuigahama Original Novel Ver.," Japan's renowned toy company GOOD SMILE COMPANY has announced the rerelease of another popular light novel "My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, As I Expected." themed product—the "Yukino Yukinoshita Original Novel Vol. 6 Cover Illustration Ver." 1/6 scale pre-painted figure. It will have a suggested retail price of 19,800 JPY and is scheduled for release in April 2026!
"My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, As I Expected." is a light novel series written by Wataru Watari and illustrated by Ponkan8. It was adapted into a TV anime in 2013 by Brain's Base, telling the youthful story of the socially awkward protagonist Hachiman Hikigaya, who, under the guidance of his teacher, joins the "Service Club" and encounters two beautiful girls, Yukino Yukinoshita and Yui Yuigahama.
This 1/6 scale pre-painted figure is a rerelease of the product originally launched in December 2024, standing approximately 26 cm tall. It brings Yukino from the original novel's Vol. 6 cover illustration to life in three dimensions. The sculpting faithfully recreates the design of Soubu High School's winter uniform, with intricate details like the uniform jacket, vest, and pleated skirt meticulously reproduced. It also captures Yukino's gentle expression and soft, delicate hair. Her flushed cheeks and thick clothing perfectly convey the crisp, cold winter atmosphere! The paintwork and printing faithfully reproduce the pattern on her scarf, with partial airbrushing to deepen the colors, giving the overall look a more subdued elegance, delicately showcasing Yukino's image as depicted by Ponkan8-sensei!
