The large-scale, highly detailed "Gigantic Series (ギガンティックシリーズ / GiganticSeries)" produced by Japan's PLEX company and distributed by X-PLUS company is once again releasing a themed product to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the film "Godzilla vs. Destoroyah" — the "Burning Godzilla (1995) 30th Anniversary Ver." soft vinyl figure. It will be released in both a standard version and a Shonen RIC exclusive version, with a suggested retail price of 88,000 and 90,000 Japanese Yen respectively, and is scheduled for release in December 2025!
In "Godzilla vs. Destoroyah," released in 1995, volcanic eruptions caused by crustal movements beneath an island led to the massive release of high-purity natural uranium underground. After absorbing an excessive amount, Godzilla underwent rapid nuclear fission within his body, transforming him into Burning Godzilla, with a crimson skin and white smoke emanating from his entire body, threatening the very survival of the entire planet!
This time, Burning Godzilla returns to the Gigantic Series as a 30th Anniversary commemorative version. The prototype reuses elements from the versions released in 2014 and 2023, brought to life in a massive scale with a height of approximately 48 cm and a total length of approximately 87.5 cm. It perfectly captures Godzilla's overwhelming presence as he approaches destruction, and the menacing glare of his red eyes staring forward significantly enhances the overall power!
The red glow emanating from the entire body of the standard version is recreated through transparent orange molding combined with an inner silver paint application, presenting a fiery visual effect under light without the need for electricity! Furthermore, there is also a Shonen RIC exclusive version, which features built-in LED illumination. You can connect it with the included USB cable to make various parts of the body actually glow, allowing all toy enthusiasts to enjoy the same awe-inspiring experience they felt on the big screen back then! For those who missed the 2014 and 2023 versions, don't miss this opportunity again!
