BANDAI SPIRITS Company's collector's toy division TAMASHII NATIONS, from Japan, has announced the latest limited-edition product, "Unicorn Gundam -STORE LIMITED EDITION-", from "Mobile Suit Gundam UC", for its alloy and ABS finished product series "GUNDAM FIX FIGURATION METAL COMPOSITE", which is thoroughly supervised by popular mechanical designer KATOKI HAJIME. It is scheduled for release in November 2025. This product will only be sold exclusively at the official flagship store TAMASHII NATIONS STORE and the official exhibition space TAMASHII SPOT.
The RX-0 Unicorn Gundam is a Newtype-use experimental mobile suit developed by Anaheim Electronics in cooperation with the Earth Federation Forces during the final phase of the "UC Project". To verify the ultimate capabilities of the "Psycho-Frame" that caused miracles during the Second Neo Zeon War, it was the first mobile suit to have its movable frame entirely constructed from Psycho-Frame material. Normally appearing in its pure white Unicorn Mode, when pilot Banagher Links activates the "NT-D System", the mobile suit's limitations are released, and it begins to transform, revealing the internal Psycho-Frame which emits light. This allows for direct control of the mobile suit via brainwaves, resulting in reaction speeds and mobility beyond human comprehension.
The "G.F.F.M.C Unicorn Gundam -STORE LIMITED EDITION-" features a refreshed paint scheme based on the 2010 release. The entire white exterior armor utilizes a nearly matte white finish, while parts such as the backpack and feet are rendered in metallic navy blue. This is complemented by desaturated red body markings, conveying the substantial, heavy feel of a machine and weapon.
The Unicorn Gundam, standing approximately 20 cm tall, has been thoroughly supervised by mechanical designer KATOKI HAJIME. It not only incorporates numerous alloy movable frame parts but also features a transformation mechanism to recreate the Destroy Mode after the "NT-D System" is activated, revealing the red clear Psycho-Frame parts embedded within the main body and shield. The head antenna can be replaced with two types of parts: a fixed sculpt or one with a transformation mechanism.
Weapon accessories include the Beam Magnum, Beam Magnum energy magazine, two Beam Sabers, a Shield, Hyper Bazooka, Hyper Bazooka magazine, and more. Compared to the old version, it lacks two Gatling Guns. The base part features a pure white background with metallic red product name lettering.
