M.S.G Weapon Unit "Virtuous Style 08 Cutlery Weapon" - Silver Cutlery Combined with Gemstone Gold Engravings, Adorable Fantasy-Style Weapons Emerge!

Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya has announced the eighth installment of its sub-series "Virtuous Style", part of the incredibly diverse "M.S.G" (Modeling Support Goods) line of customizable model parts. This new product, "Cutlery Weapon", is scheduled for release in April 2026.

The "Virtuous Style" series distinguishes itself from previous general M.S.G weapon parts with two major features. Firstly, the parts utilize a greater variety of molded colors, resulting in a higher degree of completion even in a straight-build state, making them more visually striking compared to the previous single gray molding. Secondly, the main product lineup will feature lighter-weight armaments compared to standard M.S.G weapon parts, making them ideal for use with approximately 14-15 cm tall Bishoujo (beautiful girl) plastic model kits such as Sousai Shojo Teien, Frame Arms Girl, Megami Device, and Arcanadea.

The eighth installment, "Cutlery Weapon", includes three types of cutlery-inspired weapons: a dinner knife, dinner fork, and spoon, each approximately 21 cm in length. Each weapon features a blade shape that is more menacing than typical cutlery, combined with adorable, fantasy-style metal engravings and gemstone inlay designs. They are molded in three distinct colors—silver, gold, and clear red—to represent different sections, making them perfectly suited for characters from the fantasy-themed "Arcanadea" series. In addition to precisely sculpted details, the weapons can be disassembled into three parts—top, grip, and tail—and freely customized using the standard 3mm joint.
