Issued by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectible toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, the "S.H.Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou)" series, which sculpts from the skeleton to give tokusatsu heroes their original cool appearance and natural articulation, has once again announced the second product from "Denkou Choujin Gridman", the "Combined Super God Thunder Gridman", following Gridman. The release date is yet to be determined.
Gridman was originally a non-corporeal energy lifeform, a HYPER AGENT, who came to the human world to pursue the interdimensional criminal "Demon King Kahn Digifer". He resided in the assembled computer "JUNK" in the secret base of the three protagonists, Naoto Sho, Ippei Baba, and Yuka Inoue, taking on the form designed by Ippei. When Kahn Digifer unleashed monsters to attack the computer world, Gridman merged with Naoto to stop them, and could combine with three support machines written by Yuka – the Thunder Jet, Twin Driller, and God Tank – to form the even more powerful "Thunder Gridman".
