Released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., the "S.H.Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou)" series, which sculpts from the skeletal structure to bestow tokusatsu heroes with their original cool appearance and natural articulation, has for the first time unveiled a prototype of the developing new work, "Kamen Rider V3 (Kamen Rider THE NEXT)", at the ongoing "TAMASHII NATIONS LIVE ACTION FIGURE EXPO" physical exhibition. Release date is yet to be determined.

Between 2005 and 2007, Toei released two films, "Kamen Rider THE FIRST" and "Kamen Rider THE NEXT", in succession, to carry on the story of the original "Kamen Rider", which was highly popular nearly 35 years prior. This series was not a mere remake of the "Kamen Rider" televised back then, but rather an adaptation of the manga created by Shotaro Ishinomori, depicting the story of Takeshi Hongo and Hayato Ichimonji fighting against the Shocker Organization, and their subsequent encounter with Shiro Kazami (V3), in a mysterious and eerie style true to the original work.

The "S.H.Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou) Kamen Rider V3 (Kamen Rider THE NEXT)" exhibited this time continues the design style of the previous two works, Kamen Rider 1 and Kamen Rider 2, recreating a more modern metallic exterior design than the Showa original with intricate sculpting and metallic paintwork, and reproducing the physique of the action actor wearing the suit in the show. Although not exhibited this time, it is also anticipated that, upon commercialization, it will include interchangeable head sculpt parts for Shiro Kazami, portrayed by Kazuki Kato, similar to the previous two releases, as well as the release of his dedicated motorcycle, the "Hurricane".
