Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya, known for its popular 'Megami Device' series of mecha girl plastic model kits, has announced its latest product, the 'ASRA ARCHER KIZUNA SHADOW CLOTH Full Package', scheduled for release in February 2026.
According to the official unit settings, the original 'ASRA Series' was highly praised as the first Megami Device unit capable of mounting dedicated armaments on all four limbs. However, as more diverse new armaments were subsequently released, the original body became increasingly unable to bear the load, bringing the series' development to a bottleneck. To address this, a larger body was designed using the same 'Machineca Block1.5L' frame as the successor 'OBU Series', giving the ASRA Series, known for its flexible mobility and agility, a complete rebirth. In addition to inheriting the original ASRA Series' characteristic armaments, it can also fully utilize the OBU Series' large armaments, significantly enhancing the ASRA Series' expandability.
The Megami Device 'ASRA ARCHER KIZUNA SHADOW CLOTH Full Package' is a modification of the previously released 'ASRA ARCHER KIZUNA', with the kit's molded colors replaced by a purple and black scheme, along with gold body marking decals, to present a mysterious and alluring Shadow Cloth design. The body also utilizes the 'Machineca Block1.5L' enlarged body, featuring more flexible and less prone-to-detachment movable joint designs, and can be interchanged with 'OBU Series' bodies and armament parts.
The accessories not only include four pre-painted face parts for replacement, but also all armaments from 'ASRA ARCHER KIZUNA' and 'ASRA ARCHER', as well as unarmored body limb parts, allowing for free attachment and detachment of armor parts to recreate 'Armed Mode' and 'Body Mode'. You can freely combine armaments such as the crossbow "Yoichi", dagger "Mumei", and more, to pose cool and alluring battle stances.
