The highly poseable finished robot action figure series "ROBOT魂 ver. A.N.I.M.E.", released by Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS, has announced its latest product from "Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket": the "MS-09R-2 Rick Dom II Colony Battle Specification", slated for release in March 2026.
The MS-09R-2 Rick Dom II is a mobile suit redesigned from the Rick Dom by the Principality of Zeon military during the late One Year War, as part of the "Integrated Maintenance Plan." Its thrusters and engines were primarily improved, and two cylindrical fuel tanks were added to its backpack, resulting in enhanced performance and endurance in space. After the One Year War, many Rick Dom II units remained in the possession of Zeon remnants, and a green-colored "Colony Battle Specification" version also appeared in a space colony in "Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket."
The "ROBOT魂 Rick Dom II ver. A.N.I.M.E. Colony Battle Specification" is based on the previously released general version, with its entire armor recolored in a green tone to faithfully recreate its appearance in the series. It boasts precise and highly accurate sculpting details true to the design drawings, along with a flexible articulation design. The head joint has reduced interference, allowing for significant left and right rotation. With movable shoulder and skirt armor, and flexible limb joints, this seemingly bulky and heavy armored body can be posed in dynamic weapon-wielding actions and cool battle stances.
Accessories include 5 pairs of interchangeable hands, a Giant Bazooka, a Heat Saber, an MMP-80 Machine Gun, and two Iron Fist Rocket Bombs. It also comes with a newly sculpted "Iron Fist Rocket Bomb Launch Effect" to recreate the flashing fire and billowing smoke during firing. Pair it with the separately sold "RGM-79G GM Command Colony Battle Specification" to recreate iconic battle scenes from the series!
