The classic giant soft vinyl toy 'Jumbo Machineder' series reissue, launched by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, has announced its latest product, "Brave Raideen," scheduled for release in March 2026.
'Jumbo Machineder (ジャンボマシンダー)' is a popular giant soft vinyl toy series launched by Japan's POPY Toy Company (now: BANDAI TOY DIVISION) between 1973 and 1982, which was once a sensation in Japan. This series featured highly popular hero characters of the time, such as Mazinger Z and Kamen Rider, transforming them into soft vinyl toys approximately 60 cm tall, and even developed original toy armaments and play features.

The "Jumbo Machineder Brave Raideen" reissues the classic product released in 1975 using the latest modern technology. It similarly boasts an impressive height of 60 cm, utilizing various plastic materials such as PE, ABS, and PVC to recreate its distinctive multi-faceted body shape, straight limbs, and roller skates on its feet. Accessories include a "Brave Raideen" title logo sticker that can be applied to the waist. By folding the shoulder armor and crouching down, it can assume its "God Bird Form," and the entire body faithfully reproduces its rich array of built-in original armaments.
The "God Shield" on the right arm now features a spring mechanism that can eject the "God Sword." The "God Bow" on the left arm, in addition to its original design, has been updated with a new arm featuring a firing mechanism, where the yellow bow body parts expand in conjunction when the "God Arrow" is fired. The abdomen is equipped with a "God Missile" firing mechanism, and includes a launch port cover part, as well as two missile parts: one in realistic colors and one in the original toy colors. Missiles are launched by pressing the button on the back.
Furthermore, the arm joints of the 'Jumbo Machineder Brave Raideen' utilize a common standard, allowing the Brave Raideen's arm parts to be detached and replaced with separately sold armaments such as the rapid-fire 6-shot missiles from "Mazinger Z" and "Great Mazinger".
