Produced by Japan's PLEX Co., Ltd. and released by X-PLUS Co., Ltd., the popular soft vinyl figure series 'DefoReal' (デフォリアル), which incorporates intricate realistic details into a cute deformed (Q-version) proportion, is set to release its latest product from the "Godzilla" film series: "DefoReal Type-3 Kiryu Heavy Armament Type". The reference price is 14,300 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in January 2026!
Mechagodzilla, which appeared in "Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla", is officially named "Multi-purpose Fighting System Type-3 (MFS-3)", abbreviated as Type-3 Kiryu. It was created by the Japanese government, modified from the bones of the original Godzilla salvaged from Tokyo Bay. Remotely controlled by its support aircraft "AC-3 Shirasagi", it is designed with various armaments such as missiles, Type-0 Railgun, Maser Blade, and the Type-3 Absolute Zero Cannon... capable of contending with Godzilla.
The "DefoReal Type-3 Kiryu Heavy Armament Type" stands approximately 14.5 cm tall. It incorporates Kiryu's cool mechanical details into a cute 2.5-head-tall proportion, faithfully reproducing characteristic features such as its silver-white armor and the weapon backpack mounted on its back (non-detachable). The powerful ultimate weapon "Absolute Zero Cannon" on its chest can also be displayed in two states, open or closed, using interchangeable parts. The Shonen Ric limited edition features lights in its eyes, showcasing its imposing presence!
